    salam ramadhan!!

    bismillairrahmanirrahiim..

since tomorrow will be our first dy of ramadhan, so i am happily writing about ramadhan.
just read it if you want.

    1. ramadhan is the month of al-Quran.
    - Allah says (which means), the month of ramadhan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind....
    [al-Baqarah: 185]

    2. ramadhan is the month in which sin is being forgiven.
    - on the authrity of Abu Hurairah r.a, that The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, those who fast due to their belief (iman) and are hoping for rewards from Allah, then their previous sins will be forgiven.
    [narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim]

    3. ramadhan is the month in which the prayer will be granted and being freed from the Hell.
    - on the authority of Jabir Ibn Abdillah r.a, that The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, verily in each day of the ramadhan, Allah will liberate some people from the Hell, and each Muslim has one prayer which surely will be granted.
[narrated by Ibn Majah, al-Bazzar; the narrators are trusted]

    4. ramadhan is the month in which the devils are chained, the gates of paradise/heaven are opened and the gates of the hell are closed.
    - on the authority of Abu Hurairah r.a, that one day The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam gave good news to his companions, he said, there has come to you the month of ramadhan, the month that full of blessing, Allah has ordered you to fast in that month. in this month, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of the hell are closed, besides, the devils and jinns are chained. in the month of ramadhan, there is one night that is better than 1000 months. whoever is hindered to get the goodness (rewards) of that night, that means she/he has been hindered to get the goodness (plenty of it).
[narrated by Ahmad, al-Nasa'i, this hadith has been considered sahih by Shu'aib al-Arnaut]

    5. the rewards of minor pilgrimage (umrah) in ramadhan is equal to the (rewards of) performing Hajj (pilgrimage).
    - from Ibn Abbas r.a, The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, the value of (rewards) from performing minor pilgrimage (umrah) in ramadhan is equal to (the rewards) from performing hajj (pilgrimage).
    [narrated by al-Bukhari]

can you make me smile ??

    bismillahirrahmanirrahim...
[in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful]

    alhamdulillah.
today i would like to tell a story about smile.
do you know the power of smile?
if you answer no you can read it.
but if you answer yes you should read it.
    ha ha ha!!

    a world of smile.

    the story begins....

about six years ago when i was an undergraduate in college, i was working as an intern at my university.
one day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, i saw an elderly couple come in with a liltle girl in a wheelchair.

as i looked closer at this girl, i saw that she was kind of perched on her chair.
i just then realized she had no arms and legs, just head, neck and torso.
she was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

as the couple wheeled her up to me, i was looking down at the register.
i turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink.
as i took the money from her grandparents, i looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile i have ever seen.
all of a sudden her handicap was gone and all i saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about.
she took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smile, love and warmth.

    that was six years ago.
i'm a successful business person now and whenever i get down and think about troubles of the world, i think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

    even baby can smile!!

tigasatulima: today, give a stranger one of your smiles.
it might be the only sunshine he sees all day.
